Challenge - 8/19/08 - 8/25/08

Well, this is new, is it not? This week, instead of a card, we get a ticket to enter a contest to win Fallout 3! This is good for some, bad for others. I personally don't care for it, but this is a pretty good idea and should give Kongregate some extra traffic.

But anyway, the game this week is Achilles, which has been long-awaited to have badges. Which it now does! Three to be exact: An easy, a medium, and a hard. But anyway, Achilles is basically an all-out action game. There isn't much to say, but here are a few tips:

1) Bowman are EVIL. They can and will shoot you from off screen, so block every other step you take. I'm dead serious.
2) You can block arrows from all directions. Don't think you have to change your position to block an arrow, because you don't.
3) Spearmen are your friend. D + T (or -> + 4) throws a spear, which kills an enemy in one hit. This is good. Spearmen can be hard to take down because of their long range, but it's worth it.
4) A combo: Slash, slash, kick, upslash. This combo worked well for me. Or was it downslash..? Er, you don't mind experimenting a bit, do you? :D
5) BOWMAN ARE EVIL. HATE THEM.

Well, that about rounds it up. Keep this tips in mind and you should succeed. It's only 60 kills in survival. Not too hard. Something else though: If you believe in yo'self, stay in milk, drink your teeth, don't do school, and get 8 hours of drugs, then you'll do great!
